•Closely supervise young children at all times
•Keep rescue equipment and a telephone next to the pool
•Learn CPR
•Place barriers completely around your pool

A pool is a big investment.  Make sure you get a quality pool from a reliable pool business.  Do your research!


•Request names and addresses of 8-10 references with pools that are at least 5+ years old.  
•Call the PHTA (Pool & Hot Tub Alliance).
•Ensure company carries the proper insurance (Worker's Comp., Liability).
•Visit actual pool display for stability purposes.
•Question warranties and existing service department to honor them.
